Heat+ is good, but I would have loved to see something major from Criterion/Ghost/EA themselves. Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit (PC) (1998) Need for Speed series. Had it got post release content/updates like literally any other racing title on the market right now, it would probably have a shot at the title of the best NFS game since Black Box shut down (maybe of the 21st century). Aside from its rather questionable gameplay mechanics and design choices, it's actually a decent game - not far off from UG2/MW/Carbon at all (good car list too). I've just played it for the first time recently, and it reminds me of the classic NFS games from the early-mid 2000s more than any other NFS title since Black Box went under. But I would rather have EA/Criterion/what's-left-of-Ghost-Games give us some more content for NFS Heat. Okay, Stellar Entertainment (the same studio that did Burnout Paradise Remastered) is back - cool. I love HP2010, even if is the most Burnout-y title in the NFS franchise (alongside MW2012, which isn't a bad thing at all), but this is just strange.
